I became an art teacher by accident... and it has been one of the most fulfilling jobs of my art career. I love sharing my passion for art making with children and encouraging their creative explorations. Being a part of their art journey is one of my greatest joys.
I have been teaching art to children and teens for over 25 years in my home studio in Charlotte, NC. I offer weekly classes during the school year as well as monthly workshops, summer camps and birthday parties.
Projects are chosen to expose children to a variety of art materials and to inspire their creativity and imaginations. From drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, collage and mixed media, your child will be engaged in the art making process in a small group setting.

Valentine Art Workshops
We will create a Valentine door decoration. Perfect for your door- inside or out.
Christmas Art Workshops
We will create a Holiday door decoration- Tree or Gingerbread girl or boy.
Teacher Workday Halloween Tree
We will create a mixed media spooky Halloween tree to get ready for October.

Summer Friday FunDays
One day special workshops on four Fridays this summer. Sign up for one or all four. If your child is not able to participate in my four day camps, this is a perfect choice. Each Friday will be a different project.
